The Briefs = LOVE. It was such an amazing show. It was worth the 8 hour drive. We got there and met some cool kiddos whom one was creepily close to me the entire night... BUT HE WAS COOL. The bands rocked like wowzaz. After the show was done, I went to the merch and then talked to one of the guys from The Briefs (Didn't know which one because they all kinda looked the same) and he was born in Winnipeg and is super good friends with the guys from Wednesday Night Heroes. We talked about the winnipeg scene and I told him they've got to so a Canadian tour. WOOP. The kids in the scene there were so mellow. It was weird.


Saturday, we went to the mall of America. I HATE THAT PLACE. SOOOOOO confusing and the people are fucking bitches. Some girl tried to trip Steph and people were yelling at us and NO ONE FUCKING SMILES THERE. I bought some makeup from some makeup store. Neon green. We shopped for about 3 hours there, met up with my mum and decided to get the hell out of there. We drove to Tatters, which is an amazing clothing/thrift shop. I bought the most hottest pair of creepers. SO pretty. All black. And I bought a pair of white and black checkered stockings. Steph got some zebra pants. Very hot.

We then went to Extreme Noise Records. It was awesome in there. So many records, cd's, patches, pins, t-shirts, etc. I boughhhhhhtttt a Vice Squad shirt for 10 bucks. HOTTNESS. And a Subversives cd and patch. We talked to a few people in there. They were nice. On the way back to the hotel we were deciding what to do for the night and I remembered there was a grind/crust show. We went to that and met some awesomely awesome people. The bands were incredible. The last band, Provoked, were just wow. At the end of the show, the guitarist's amp started being a bitch so the drummer yelled at it and threw his drumsticks at it. It then turned back on =D The drummer and guitarist kissed and hugged hahaha. They both looked like twins except with differenet hair. They were awesome though. I wanted to get one of their shirts but PLEUGH, no more.

We went back to the hotel and went to the "big" workout room. Some creepy guy who worked there was sitting in the room with the lights off watching the tv. IT WAS SCARY. But we talked to him for a while. He left after and we stole towels. Went back to the room, showered, and watched a few movies. THEN SLEPT.


Ran downstairs and got breakfast. Super gross except for the orange juice. The cream cheese WAS NOT creamy. Then we drove to Fargo and stopped at a store called Dead Rockstar. It ws closed. Drove a few hours more to Grand Forks. Shopped there for a little. Didn't buy anything though. My mum bought stuff for my brother. We left at about 9:30 am and got home at 6:30 ish. Pretty good time considering we shopped, and got held up at the border for a little.

My weekend was AWESOMExcore. I did miss Winnipeg a little though. =D
